I designed a themed Cha Light Portrait Booth for the House of Yes. In particular for their annual Halloween party called the City of Gods. I took the theme of gods and goddesses and designed light painted backgrounds for several weeks before the event; including clouds, stars, fire and combinations of. Then I designed four types of light choreographies for the different types of costumes to be performed in the booth. After observing the costume and talking to the person, I would fit them into one of the four elements; water, fire, air and earth. I combined the double exposure in the camera, which saved computer time of any retouching.
Over two nights, I created about 70 Cha light portraits and shared them to the community online. I’m so pleased to have signed with House of Yes for future events and look forward to designing new themes.
