‘Light Painting Photo Call’ at ArtMonaco ‘16
Monte Carlo, Monaco – October 27th and 28th , 2016. Artist Chanette MANSO, invites ArtMonaco’16 attendees to a ‘Light Painting Photo Call’.
Thursday 27th and Firday 28th of October, Manso will invite ArtMonaco’16 attendees to a ‘Light Painting Photo Call’. This Photo Call differs in that the wall is dark and the poser takes unusual steps, like standing very still, seeing lights dance around, or spontaneously writing their name in the air.
Manso puts the camera in open mode to layer each image with the portrait, light shapes, writings and logos in one lapse of time. Every shot is a surprise.
Chanette Manso is a French-American artist passionate about light painting, a long exposure photograph that captures the movement of light. Manso has recently been featured in the Light Art Conference in Oviedo Spain and is a board member of the French Light Painting League headquartered in Paris.
Saturday the 29th of October planned for 18 hour, an open screening from Chanette Manso’s, aka Cha’s ‘Light Painting Photo Call’ is planned for general viewing in the installation space.

Monte Carlo, Monaco – le 27 octobre à partir de 18h et 28 octobre à partir de 17h, artiste Chanette MANSO, invite les participants d’ArtMonaco’16 au ‘Light painting photo call’.
Le jeudi 27 octobre à partir de 18h et le vendredi 28 octobre à partir de 17h, artiste Chanette MANSO, invite les participants d’ArtMonaco’16 au ‘Light Painting Photo Call’. Poser pour une photo différemment, dans le semi-noir, en restant immobile pendant que les lumières tournent autour, puis vous pouvez écrire votre nom spontanément. La pose longue de l’appareil permet de composer en une prise, le portrait avec les logos, les formes et les écritures tout lumineux. Le côté aléatoire du ‘light painting’ créé chaque fois une surprise!
Le samedi 29 octobre à 18h, Manso prévoit une projection des résultats des deux jours de l’installation, ‘Light Painting Photo Call’, dans l’espace attribué.
Passionnée de la danse et de la photographie, Chanette Manso, met en scène le mouvement de la lumière comme empreinte de matière. Manso vient d’intervenir en tant que conférencière et professeur au Congrès International de Light Art à Oviedo, en Espagne. Elle est member fondatrice en 2015 de la Ligue francophone de light painting basé sur Paris.
