The Light Heart Project is for the ongoing stop motion animation.
Story : The heart has run amok! Has the symbol lost it’s original meaning of giving one’s heart to a loved one? The heart is running away from being overused on social media, phone texts and dating apps.
How : The Light Heart Project engages people to personalize their heart by light painting an existing 4ft heart made with LEDs. The long exposure photograph allows for the light traces that are drawn to be captured.
Why : All the light hearts created during live events become a part of the ongoing stop motion animation.
Who : Artist Chanette Manso facilitates one person or a team of 2 to 5 people to make a light heart image.
