Geometry is one of Manso’s reoccurring themes, such as in the series, Revolve where she visually transforms well known monuments into abstract symmetries. This series is an opening into her experimental process initiating the viewer into the organic unfolding of each camera rotation experienced by the artist on location, where she uses the skies at dawn or dusk to create a deep color palette ranging from purples to oranges.
The process itself beholds the question, “What is the relationship between time and geometry?”
Manso’s other geometry series include; Rituels, Nice France 2015, where she won First Prize for the Mediterranean Photography Competition. The Visica Piscus, New York 2021 series is a collaborative work with New York high-tech fashion designers ThreeAsFour, whose designs are based on sacred geometry.
